According to a recent report, which studied the analysis of the distribution of the disease back in 2018 showed that the United States has recorded the most diseases occurred to the citizens in that year. Most of the diseases were cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis was the week’s top story in infectious disease, says the CDC’s announcement that 2018 marked the United States’ fifth straight record-breaking year.
There were reports presented by a media company, IDWeek, which showed that more than 2.4 Million cases of various diseases like chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis were reported in the United States in 2018, due to which the United States was marked with the highest number of disease encountered for the consecutive fifth year for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). The fact is noticeable that although the healthcare investment in such a super-powered state should be the highest and should be prioritized, there was a tremendous note in the increase in the STDs, that too for five consecutive years.
One more noticeable report is that 51% of the early cases in the New York measles outbreak was due to the unvaccinated adults. The adults who had not been given a vaccination during the outbreak had a significant impact and they were deprived of other hospitalities they were supposed to be provided with. The government has been working with the same issue and assured they are not going to make the current term, the 6th consecutive year. No country would wish to make a world record on being the highest affected country by diseases!
