The stocks of Germany were higher after their close on Wednesday, as the gains in the Consumer & Cyclical, Software, and Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare sectors led the shares higher.
At the Frankfurt close, the DAX increased 0.34 percent, whereas the MDAX index gained 0.50 percent, and the TecDAX index added 0.81 percent.
The session’s best performers on the DAX were Adidas AG that rose 3.73 percent or 10.40 points to the trade at 289.55 towards the close. In the meantime, Bayer AG NA gained 2.78 percent or about 1.59 points and ending at 58.75. Wirecard AG added 2.78 percent or 4.100 points to the 151.600 in late trade.
The session’s worst performers were E.ON SE NA that fell 1.86 percent or 0.172 points to the trade at 9.054 at closing. Linde PLC fell 1.47 percent or 2.600 points ending at 173.750. Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST declined 1.41 percent or 0.900 points to close at 62.900.
The MDAX top performers were Puma SE rising 8.48 percent to close at 63.30, Aareal Bank AG that was up 5.81 percent settling at 25.880 and the Drillisch AG gaining 2.63 percent to close at 27.300.
The worst performers on the MDAX were Metro Wholesale & Food Specialist AG that downed 3.85 percent to 14.0000 in the late trade, Grenke N AG losing 3.11 percent and settling at 78.00 and Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. that declined 1.89 percent to 57.160 at the close.
The TecDAX top performers were RIB Software AG Na rising 9.06 percent to 19.630, Medigene NA O.N. that was up 5.04 percent and settling at 6.570 and the SLM Solutions Group AG gaining 4.15 percent to close at 13.06.
The worst performers on the TecDAX were Nordex SE O.N. that downed 1.84 percent to 10.660 in the late trade, Xing AG losing 1.56 percent and settling at 346.00 and the Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. downing 1.25 percent to 125.90 at the close.
